Data collection

VeloFiler does not collect or transmit personal information, usage data or diagnostics to the developer's servers. It contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.

Files on your device

Local files and folders you select, your SSH configuration, SSH keys and known_hosts are processed only on your device, solely to perform the file operations, previews and SSH/SFTP connections you initiate.

SSH/SFTP

When you use the SSH/SFTP feature, the app communicates with the servers you specify. VeloFiler never sends your SSH passwords or private keys to the developer's servers, and does not store them on its own.

Permissions

VeloFiler uses macOS Security-Scoped Bookmarks to restore access to locations you have explicitly granted, across launches. This information is stored inside the app's container on your device.
